Pulau Ubin

Maibu

We visited Maibu, a small purok (village) in northern Mindanao. We spent sometimes in the farm. My kids had a wonderful time playing with the native children. It was very peaceful and life was different from ours. Basically, the villagers survive on their yield from their farmland. Day after day, they plough the field under the hot sun without any complaint of tiredness.
